Our history of innovation

It’s been quite a journey from our start-up beginnings. Our patented, airplane-mounted camera systems were developed and built with our Nearmap team in Australia. More than just aerial imagery, we introduced 3D content, AI datasets, and became the first imagery and analytics provider offering a dedicated capture program for natural disasters. In 2023, we acquired Betterview to offer actionable property insights. And in 2025, itel joined the Nearmap portfolio, rounding out our complete property solution with verified materials pricing and analysis.
